Voted as one of the 100 things people like about Canberra, the Summer Sounds concert series is on each Saturday and Sunday evening through January. The concerts feature some of Canberra's best live bands performing in an outdoor setting.
As the sun goes down over the Gardens, enjoy outdoor picnicking, live music, socialising and dancing on the Eucalypt Lawn.
Presented over eight balmy summer nights, the concert program offers a diverse selection of music including jazz, swing, Latin American, country, rockabilly, popular and Australian folk.
Concerts commencing at 5.30 pm and concluding at 7.30 pm. Gardens will close at 8.00 pm.
Entry to Summer Sounds is by $2 donation per person or $5 per family. Donations contribute towards conservation projects initiated by the Friends of the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
Summer Sounds is a Smoke Free event.
