Victorian Naturalist, Vol.103, No.1 (1986) p.30:
General Meeting [Field Naturalists Club of Victoria]
Monday, 9th December 1985
Members stood and observed a
moments silence in memory of Mr. Frank
Robbins who died early last month.
Mr.
Robbins joined the Club in 1943 and had
a wide range of interests.
His studies had
included the Permian glacial pavements
of the Eppalock area and a botanical
survey of the Whipstick.
Willis et al lists Frank Robbins as a collector "1902-1985 Teacher, botanist, geologist" and the collections in the map below for 'Robbins, F.' fall in the range 1925-1985, many as joint collector with Cliff Beauglehole, but surprisingly little other recognition of his role has been found, if indeed these are the work of one person.
