Born 27 March 1924 (location unknown); died 7 Dec 2010 in Victoria, Australia, at age 86.
Percy trained as a horticulturalist at Burnley Horticultural College and was then employed by the Melbourne City Council Parks Department.
He saw army service from 1942 to 1946, serving in the Dental Corps as a Staff Sergeant.
He was then employed by the Canberra Parks Department, then in 1953 he worked for the Melbourne Zoological Gardens.
In 1955 he was offered the position of Manager at the Yarralumla Nursery, Canberra, which he held until 1966.
(His brother Jack Moore was also employed at Yarralumla Nursery.)
In 1976 Percy became the Rector of St John's Anglican Church, Maffra, Victoria, Australia and in 1986 moved to Paynesville as Assistant Priest in the parish of St John's, Bairnsdale and Priest in Charge, St Peter's by the Lake, Paynesville, retiring in 1989.
