Angus Duguid joined the Arid Zone Research Institute (AZRI) in Alice Springs in 2020. Angus brought over 25 years of experience and a wealth of knowledge from working with the former Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and the Parks and Wildlife Commission in various environmental science management, assessment and monitoring roles.
Angus was no stranger to AZRI and had been living and working in Alice Springs for nearly 30 years. He originally trained in agriculture and forestry before moving to the Northern Territory and working as a botanist and fire ecologist, and on wetlands and waterholes.
