Kym Brennan has lived in the
Top End since 1969.
He has an
Applied Science Degree in
Biology from the Canberra
College of Advanced
Education (now Canberra University).
During the
preparation of the book, Wildflowers of Kakadu,
between 1982 and 1985, he
was employed as a biologist
with the Office of the
Supervising Scientist at
Jabiru in Kakadu
National Park.
He later worked for the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory in Darwin.
He retired in 2018 and continued working in an honorary capacity for the Northern Territory Herbarium (DNA).
