Use:

• Food
• The roots have 'many bulbous tubers which are crisp and sweet. The tubers were cooked in ground ovens and are easily collected.' (Zola & Gott, 1992:12)

Notes:
'The small green fruits which develop on the spike are worth eating ... have a pleasant taste of fresh peas.' (Cribb & Cribb, 1987:176). Probably eaten by local Aboriginal peoples.
