This is the only Australian native plant in a series of 5 'Floral Festivals' stamps.

Paper Daisy

Erect annual to 40 cm with smooth, broad-linear leaves to 4 cm.
Papery flower heads, white, pink or almost red, with yellow or black centres, occur in spring.
Often sold as Acroclinium,particularly overseas.
Propagation: From seed.
Cultivation: A commonly grown annual. Very showy. Excellent cut flower for drying.
Appreciates well-prepared soil and full sun. Ensure seedlings are protected from heavy frosts. Sow in May.
