Orange Bracket,   Cinnabar Fungus

This fungus has a flattened, shelf-like shape and grows singly or in small groups.
It is a 'white rot' saprobic fungus. It was first described from Guana Island in the Caribbean, but occurs throughout the tropics,
usually growing on dead hardwoods with the bark still intact.
