Water Dragons in the ANBG

In the Australian National Botanic Gardens Water Dragons can be found around any of the ponds (shown in light blue on the map). The most popular spot is on the rocks above the Tasmanian Garden ponds. This is also their preferred nesting area.

The gardens are open daily, except for Christmas Day, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. In January the closing time is extended to 6 pm. Admittance to the gardens is free, but there is a fee for parking. The parking fees are used to buy plants and equipment for the gardens.
