Adaptations of Australian Plants

Look at how Aussie plants have adapted to different climate ranges by taking advantage of our mallee, rainforest and other wonderful living collections.

This program is available as a DIY Explorer (self-guided) activity or as a Botanical Expeditions (guided) activity.

This program takes approximately one hour to complete.

Who is it for?

These programs are aimed at Years 4 - 12


DIY Explorer (free)

Teacher preparation is necessary. There are currently no specific activities or worksheets for these activities. Download teacher notes which provide background information, maps and exemplar questions that can be modified to meet student learning outcomes.

You get to choose from one, or any combination of the following:
Mallee, rainforest, grasslands, alpine.
Make sure you indicate your choice when you make a booking.
