SCHEDULE B PREMISES AND EQUIPMENT

Premises

NPWS

The Herbarium and office/laboratory accommodation in the Botany Building on the Australian National Botanic Gardens (ANBG) site at Black Mountain will be made available for use by the Centre.

The Research complex at the ANBG site on Black Mountain will be made available for use by the Centre until such time as plans to relocate the research activities and personnel currently based there are put into effect.

CSIRO

The Herbarium (building 502 plus new extension), the herbarium annex (building 65), the isozyme laboratory plus the genetics resources offices (part of building 73), and the fire ecology laboratory and offices (building 16) at the CSIRO Black Mountain site and the herbarium and associated laboratory and offices at the Atherton site will be made available for use by the Centre.

The glasshouses, shadehouse and phytotron space currently used by Program U of the Division of Plant Industry will also be made available for use by the Centre.

Equipment

NPWS

Existing furniture, fittings and laboratory equipment situated in the premises to be made available for use by the Centre. All items have barcoded labels identifying them as NPWS assets.

CSIRO

Existing furniture, fittings and laboratory equipment situated in the premises to be made available for use by the Centre. All items are identified as CSIRO assets. Vehicles and that part of the Gas Chromatogram allocated to Program U will also be made available for use by the Centre.
