11. DEPUTY DIRECTOR

11.2 NPWS agrees to appoint the Deputy Director as one of its employees for the term of the Deputy directorship and to fund the position of Deputy Director.

11.3 The Deputy Director's role is to be determined by the Board and shall include:

(a) assisting the Director in the day to day running of the Centre;

(b) managing the Herbarium and data management programs of the Centre; and

(c) performing the duties of the Director in his or her absence.
