Botanist & environmental scientist. Born 1959. Graduated BSc Hons (1981), PhD from University of NSW (1987) with interests in Anacardiaceae and tropical Scrophulariaceae (especially Limnophila & Lindernia). Published on infrafamilial systematics of Anacardiaceae and revision of Australian Limnophila. As of 2002 has collected about 3,500 species mostly north-west New South Wales, Kakadu (housed at UNSW) and north-east Queensland and Cape York Peninsula (housed at BRI, NSW & personal collection).
